Fab City
Fab Cities form a global network of cities, the so called Fab City Network, in which open source technologies are used to increase the respective share of local value creation and control of production (design, production, material flows). In the meantime, regions and one nation (Georgia) have also joined the Fab City network. A prerequisite for joining the network is the formation of a local consortium consisting of the government and actors who can be associated with the Fab City idea. The network was initiated in 2014 and consists of about 40 network partners (entities).
