Graphical User Interface

A graphical-user-interface allows users to interact with devices and software through graphical icons such as menus, buttons, and text forms. They were created to be a user-friendly alternative to the command-line.

Example

Using a GUI file explorer to find, edit, or delete a file can be more intuitive than navigating a terminal.
